True Conservative: Member Rankings from the ILA

In time for our primaries, we look around for independent, objective analysis of our candidates actual performance in the legislature. In the past, we have posted the CPAC analysis (update coming soon!), and this just in from the Institute for Legislative Analysis: https://scorecard.limitedgov.org/lawmakers?state=WY&year=2024 Review and see for yourself how this was scored, and how each lawmaker was assessed against the ILA's criteria. You can determine for yourself from this objective analysis of the legislative record who is ACTUALLY a conservative, and who is adopting the term for convenience. Here's a quick summary: rank: 12. rank: 18. Rep. Ken Pendergraft [R - WY], dist. 29, score: 88.68%
rank: 27. Sen. Dave Kinskey [R - WY], dist. 22, score: 80.60%
rank: 54. Rep. Cyrus Western [R - WY], dist. 51, score: 33.33%
rank: 78. Rep. Barry Crago [R - WY], dist. 40, score: 23.58%
There are a lot of locally developed and produced sources of legislative and candidate analysis, but we hope you can use these sources to assess the accuracy/validity of the locally developed surveys.
It is worth noting in the rankings that Rep. Rothfuss (D) voted more in line with the conservative agenda than Rep. Crago did. Think on that for the Senate race between Mr. Jennings and Mr. Crago.
