Next steps

For the up coming meeting the public has two options.

  • One, come to the meeting on the 2nd and address the BOCC directly as a citizen.

  • Two select an agenda item of interest, go to that section of the meeting packet for the available details. Then any concerns or questions can be left in the comments of this post or emailed to comms@scgop.us.

Quick Update - for those out of the loop:

Several agenda items were tabled in the last meeting - specifically items 8, 14, & 15. With the Holidays, it is debatable. How much of the additional "time to consider" and desired discussion was able to take place?

Most importantly have the concerns voiced by the public been adequately address?

Then there are these Items

  • 6. Nominate and Elect 2024 Chairman of the Sheridan Board of County Commissioners.

  • 7. Consider 2024 Commissioner Assignments.

These two items present the public with the option to direct some changes.

  • Item Six: Given that 4 of the 5 Commissioners are derelict in their duties to their constituents and; furthermore, the current chair has been openly questioned as to being a tyrant. Is not the only reasonable choice for County Commissioner Chair - Commissioner Holly Jennings?

  • Item Seven: Given the recent hijinks with the SAWSJPB. New blood seems mandatory. Is anyone aware of other examples of "below par" results from our Commissioner's work on boards that should be addressed at this time?

Remember that citizens working together can Course correct Our Electeds.

Hope to see ya all on the 2nd.

Item 15 Consider Letter of Support for the City of Sheridan – Northeast Transmission Main Extension 2023.

Why is this on the agenda?

How many times does the pubic have to say it?

We don't want to dissolve SAWSJPB and we don't need a pipeline to nowhere!

The Citizens' priority is to ensure the current water system is well maintained and can ensure water availability for the Current Citizens of the County.

No means No!
