Regarding the negative health effects of marijuana, that's not the argument to make. Alcohol and fast food have a laundry list of negative health effects too. We undercut our own argument when we pick and choose unhealthful activities to allow and prohibit. Chasing people down who are sitting around in their homes all red-eyed eating Cheetos isn't worth the resources or effort anyway. Even if the feds and some states ignore laws now, we shouldn't ignore the U.S. Constitution's Supremacy Clause. Regardless of Wyoming or any other state's laws, marijuana is still illegal in all 50 states. If the feds do legalize it, we need to argue the deleterious effects that dispensaries have on communities. That's the political battle, to…

I agree that the battle in our State is to keep the drug dealers out. Overall, I'm cautious re: the use of the Supremacy Clause. Individual States must retain their sovereignty. The Supremacy Clause should be used very rarely, truly for the good of 'the several "States.'" Maybe this is one of those rare cases.
