Hello…Jeffrey Mueller here….I am a Wyoming native that moved away for a job and 15 years ago came back home. I am now retired and run my own business flying drones. Have any of you read what the RAISE grant is? This is a grant used to advance and promote climate change theology, ensure racial equity, and remove barriers to opportunity. This will be used by our city “fathers” to advance their misguided ideology that we need to house illegal emigrants on the west side of town to build the beltway around Sheridan. Studies show that when you bypass a downtown it dies. Perhaps this is why these misguided individuals are doing this so that they can dump traffic out on their property on the north end. Hmmmm.Just food for thought!!

Although this isn't exactly the right place to have this discussion, I wanted to address your comment, Jeffrey.

I read the Notice of Funding Opportunity for the RAISE grant. I have my concerns with that grant, many of which are probably the same as yours. I plan to review the agreement thoroughly, provided the City of Sheridan is awarded the grant.

Keep in mind, this is just one possible way to fund the beltway. It might not be the right way depending on what strings are attached.

However, the expressed intent of the beltway is to do the following:

Remove heavy truck traffic from residential neighborhoods
Provide another way to get from one end of town to the other

I appreciate your concerns and would like to invite you attend the City Council meetings and make your voice heard to the Council.

Regular meetings - 1st and 3rd Mondays @ 7:00 PM

Study sessions - 2nd and 4th Mondays @ 5:30 PM
